The Western Mine Workers Alliance (WMWA) is a partnership between the Mining and Energy Union and AWU (Australian Workers Union). WMWA covers all the mining-related employees and contractors in the Pilbara. This includes:

• Operators
• Maintainers
• Tradies
• Technicians
• EMO’s
• Anyone engaged in mining-related work in the Pilbara

The alliance plays a vital role in campaigning to improve the working lives of the workers employed in the Pilbara.

If you work in a Pilbara mine then the WMWA is the Union for you.
